The Wests Tigers take on the Warriors
The 2019 Wests Tigers showed that this year they have the potential to mix it with the big boys after a resounding win at Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday! Nearly 10,000 Macarthur locals turned up to support their team take on the Kiwis and come away with an emphatic win! With rain forecast and a strange time slot, the match had the potential to be a little under done, but the men in Black and Gold certainly got the crowd cheering quite early on. It was also great to see a big tun out of Warrior supporters, who were just as enthusiastic in their encouraging chants, despite the weather. It's been a while since I've heard the "Tigers" chant go around Campbelltown Stadium, so to hear it was good for the soul. I did have a bit of a chuckle late in the match as I looked around the crowd to see quite a few ladies trying to multi task trying to watch the latest episode of MAFS on their phones, whilst being equally entertained by the Tigers antics on the field. We're looking forward to taking on the Bulldogs again this week, 4pm at Campbelltown on Sunday, so if you've been thinking of bringing the family out for a while, I highly recommend you do so! It'll be a dynamic game and great to hear the mighty Tigers chant again!
