Electric vehicles have arrived at Paul Wakeling Hyundai
There's been a huge amount of interest in recent times about Electric Vehicles. Most of the discussion seems to be centred around the political parties positions on how many EV's will be sold by the year 2030 and what this may mean for our country. One of the more difficult things to overcome is the general lack of understanding about how EV's work, why there is a global push on their future and the economic and environmental impacts they may have. There's a lot to consider, I won't attempt them all in a single article, but let's touch on a few points this week. Firstly EV's aren't a thing of the future, they're here now! In fact, Hyundai have two model lines right now that are fully electric. The Kana EV and the loniq EV. The Kana has just been released for sale this month and is a real cracker! It's fast, handles well and has a range of over 450kms. The ones we have at the dealership can be fully charged from empty in about 8 hours. However, driving one does make you feel like George Jetson and the one thing I did forget to do was to turn it off, it's that quiet!! There's a lot more to discuss so we'll do that over the next few weeks, but for now if you want to see the future or even drive it, pop on down to our Hyundai Showroom in Campbelltown and give it a whirl! I can guarantee you'll be impressed.
