Macarthur Business Awards

Recently, we attended the Macarthur Business Awards at the Cube, hosted by NSW Business Chamber. This year the awards were held in conjunction with Macarthur’s Business Event of the Year which we were proud to sponsor…this event showcases many of the regions fantastic entrepreneurs and leading businesses and is certainly an event that many people place on their calendar. Wakelings were represented quite strongly being finalists in four categories on the night…Excellence in Business, Young Business Executive, Excellence in Innovation and Employer of Choice.We were super excited to win in three categories, I’m pleased to say Andrew Hayes our Mitsubishi/Hyundai Workshop Controller at Campbelltown was acknowledged for his fantastic achievements as Young Business Executive.

Our Platinum Advantage team, led by Marcie Ward was awarded Excellence in Innovation for helping to change the motor dealership model and especially pleasing for me was being awarded Employer of Choice…it’s fantastic to receive acknowledgment from outside the industry and even more so when it involves the contributions from all our staff…we’re looking forward to heading to the state finals later in the year where I’m sure we’ll do Macarthur proud!!
